Rikki's Story
*Woof* I'm in a foster home! Email my foster caregiver to meet me: s.lummis17@gmail.com.

Rikki is a timid, but sweet puppy. She loves playing with her toys, chewing up sticks, and taking long naps. She is a total dog's dog - she would be a great companion to a doggy sibling or two that likes to play. She also spent time in a foster home with a cat and did great with that as well!

Rikki is mostly potty trained, though still has accidents occasionally. She does very well in her crate both at night and during the day when she's left alone. She is not much of a barker, and she does not show signs of resource guarding (she loves to share!).

She's fearful of going outside (especially in a city setting) and meeting new people, so she'll need patient adopters who can help her gain confidence as she grows. Just in the few months she's been in a foster home, she's shown incredible progress and now confidently walks throughout the neighborhood.

As her foster, she is an absolute pleasure to have in the home. She makes us laugh every day, keeps our resident dogs happy, and we hope she can find a family that will give her a chance. She has a lot of love to give!
