Meet Riggs!<br/><br/>Riggs is a little bundle of energy and affection who is always ready for his next adventure or a cozy cuddle session afterward.<br/><br/>Riggs is 1.5 years old. He loves going for walks and especially enjoys time at the park where he can run, play, and burn off some of his enthusiasm. Riggs gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home.<br/><br/>When Riggs came into the care of Valley Dogs, he was suffering from a hip injury that required a femoral head ostectomy (FHO). His veterinarian believes the injury was caused by some type of trauma, such as a fall, jump, or impact to the hip area that resulted in a fracture.<br/><br/>Despite his injury, Riggs never let it slow him down. Even before surgery, he happily kept up with his four-legged companions. After surgery, he is simply continuing to enjoy life to the fullest.<br/><br/>Riggs would thrive in an active home with a securely fenced yard, especially since he weighs less than 12 pounds. He would love a family that includes him in walks, outings, and everyday activities. Please complete an application and let us know which pup you’re interested in. Email questions to valleydogs@valleydogs.org We require a home visit, 2 week trial adoption and then final adoption. All animals are fixed, chipped and will be current on shots (puppies may need additional shots age dependent).
