Riff has typical cattle dog tendencies, but he is also highly intelligent, loyal, and highly trainable. Although he came to us with the habit of wanting to chase cars and herd small animals, Riff makes progress everyday on breaking these behaviors. He is energetic and active, requiring a combination of physical and mental stimulation to fulfill his needs. He loves a good nosework game sniffing for food, and loves to learn tricks. He also has a sweet and snuggly side that will melt your heart and his food motivation is a plus for training. Riff loves playing with his squeaky toys in the kennel, and hopes soon that kennel will become a home. He is still working on his house training but not completely there yet.
