Rico's Story
Rico is a 2-year-old, medium-sized sweetheart who has been thriving in a foster home environment. While he may have a few physical scars from his past, they only tell a story of resilience, they don't define who he is today. Rico is nothing but a sweetheart with love to give, and he's more than ready to share it with a family of his own.

This gentle boy absolutely melts for affection. Give him the TLC he's been craving, and he'll happily curl right into your lap and soak up every second. Rico has met a few dog friends and, with proper introductions, has made best friends (just check out his photos!). He's a kind, soft-hearted companion who is ready to start his next chapter. We would love for you to come meet Rico and see just how special he is.

This is what a regular Doggy Day Out-er had to say about Rico: "If you want a perfect dog, name them Rico! What a great dog this Rico is. We walked a couple of miles around and through a youth lacrosse tournament at Center Park today. Rico was loved by many kids who asked to pet him. He was great with them. He was not nervous walking through the crowds of people. We then drove to my house and Rico rode in my lap almost the whole ride. I put him on a 40ft lead and he did some exploring. After a while he found a tennis ball under a bush. He picked it up, trotted over, and then rolled it to my feet. I tossed the ball and he tore after it and caught it on the first bounce. Then he trotted back and rolled it to me again. Over and over again. He really loves to play fetch! There is a short list of dogs that I have instantly wanted to adopt and Rico is on it!"

If you have any questions about me, please click the "Ask About Meeting Me" button next to my profile!!
