Ricky's Story

Everyone, meet Ricky! His story is heart breaking, he was turned into the shelter as a “stray.” When the shelter ran his microchip, it turns out his owner had turned him into the high kill shelter.

Ricky was so scared and confused! Why did his family that he loved turn him into that cold, loud, and scary place? Ricky was shutting down more and more in his kennel and he found himself on the euthanasia list…

And no one was stepping up for him. With zero interest he was set to take his last breath Monday morning, but for whatever reason he wasn’t euthanized and we were able to rescue him.

Even though his life is no longer in jeopardy, he is still experiencing a life without a family. Without someone to love and adore him!

He has been featured in The Dodo, and Newsweek, and yet still not one offer!
