He can be quite shy at first and needs a family that understands that trust takes time and with patience, kindness and love Ricky will slowly come out of his shell and reveal the loyal and loving companion hiding inside. He gets along well with other dogs and finds comfort in their company. Ricky is not a mischievous or high-energy puppy, and prefers a peaceful environment where he can feel safe and secure. He is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and crate trained. He is still practicing walking on a leash and potty training and will continue to improve with encouragement, consistency, and kindness. Rickys journey began when his mom Renata was abandoned while pregnant. Fortunately, a caring family took her in and gave her a safe place to raise her babies. <br/>Today, Ricky is one of the seven puppies that survived because someone chose kindness. Along with his brothers Reggie and Rocco, and his mom Renata, he is hoping to find a forever family where he will always be loved and protected. The best things in life are worth waiting for, and Ricky is one of them. He has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide him with the affection he craves.
