Meet Richard!<br/><br/>Richard is an almost 5-year-old sweetheart with a loving personality and a heart full of affection. If he had his way, he'd be a lap dogdespite being a large breed! He thrives on attention, enjoys endless pets, and loves being close to his people.<br/><br/>We believe Richard is a Great PyreneesBelgian Malinois mix. He is incredibly smart, knows a variety of tricks, and is eager to learn even more. Richard is gentle, playful, and loves spending time outdoors. He especially enjoys playing with other dogs and being part of the action.<br/><br/>Richard would do best in a home where he has consistent companionship, whether from another animal or a human family member. He gets along well with other dogs and children and has so much love to give. He would benefit from unleash training and recall.<br/><br/>Because Richard was abandoned as a puppy, he experiences some anxiety, which may also be influenced by his Malinois traits. He has made tremendous progress and is doing much better than he once did. However, he can still have occasional anxiety episodes, which may trigger flare-ups of his GERD. He may benefit from ongoing support, including a specialized diet and/or medication to help manage his skin sensitivities and anxiety.<br/><br/>Richard is a deeply loved dog who deserves a forever home that understands and can provide for his unique needs.
