Rhyne's Story
Meet Rhyne!

Rhyne is an 11-month-old, 35 lb Lab mix who is equal parts independent sweetheart and playful companion Rhyne is an incredibly sweet, smart puppy with a personality beyond her age. In many ways, she's surprisingly un-puppy-like: calm, easygoing, and content to entertain herself with toys or relax in a sunny spot in the yard.

She has a wonderful temperament and is both loving and affectionate. Rhyne is very people-friendly and enjoys being part of the family while also being able to settle independently. Her medium-to-low energy level makes her an easy companion for a variety of households.

Rhyne would be a great fit for a family with children or almost any home looking for a gentle, well-balanced pup. She can live with another dog given slow, thoughtful introductions.

At night, Rhyne sleeps quietly in her pen and will use a pee pad if needed. During the day, she stays in her pen when unsupervised and has never been destructive in the home. She's eager to learn, highly intelligent, and picks up new commands quickly.

If you're looking for a puppy who is affectionate, easygoing, and mature beyond her years, Rhyne may be the perfect addition to your family.

Rhyne is currently being fostered in Maplewood, NJ and her adoption fee is $575.

To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
