Meet Rhett!<br/>Rhett is a precious little Yorkie who is ready to leave his rescue days behind and find a forever family — and we’re so glad he found his way to us alongside Scarlett.<br/><br/>Rhett is estimated to be around 3 years old or a little younger. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, groomed, and in good overall health.<br/><br/>Rhett and Scarlett were found together at Cherokee Park. We made every effort to find their owners, including checking for a microchip and posting them through all the appropriate channels. After more than a month with no one coming forward, it’s time to help Rhett find the home he deserves.<br/><br/>Because Rhett and Scarlett have been through so much together and are clearly bonded, we strongly prefer that they be adopted together. They are a sweet little pair and have been a source of comfort for each other through a huge change in their lives.<br/><br/>Rhett is also still working on his house training. He has made progress while with us, but a new home and another change in environment may mean some regression or require some fine-tuning. That’s not unusual for rescue dogs, especially after multiple changes in a short amount of time. We are committed to rescuing homeless dogs and cats, providing the medical care they need, and helping them find loving, lifelong homes.<br/><br/>Our pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick prevention, dewormed, and examined by a veterinarian. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested when age appropriate.
