Rhett's Story

- Name: Rhett

- DOB: November 6, 2025

- Breed: 50/50 Border Collie and Catahoula Leopard Dog Male

- Size: He was 26 lbs as of Feb 2 and is likely closer to 45/50 lbs right now. He should mature to 75–100 lbs. He has beautiful blue eyes that he will keep as an adult.

- Personality: He is a happy, brave, and goofy boy who loves attention and food. He loves to run, play and explore. He needs an active home that is going to do something with him! He doesn’t do well when he gets bored.

- Training: He is kennel trained, though he does still have occasional accidents in his kennel overnight. He can sit on command, knows his name and is pretty good on a leash and in the car.

- Compatibility: He is good with other dogs. While we don't have cats or kids at home, he was very good with my nieces and nephew and just wanted to play with them. He is a little bit scared of horses but gains confidence if you are confident.

I had an accidental litter of pups but I have made sure that everyone goes to a good home. I will be vetting his next home and family as he’s come back to me once already. This means I would either like to come meet his potential family and see his potential home or have pictures sent to me and have you come meet him and see how you get along. I would also like to do a trail day/few days to ensure he likes his new home and is a good fit. Rhett does have a rehoming fee to ensure this. He is not neutered. UTD on vaccines. If you have any questions please contact me.

Rhett is not a DCHS foster puppy. He is being listed as a community service. To meet Rhett or learn more about him, please contact Caydence at 970-787-0105 (text would be best)
