Rhett 25C-270A's Story
Five-month-old Rhett, and his siblings Wilkes, Melanie, and Scarlett are all survivors of a childhood of neglect and indifference. They, as have their Gone with the Wind connections, experienced the coldness of humans who delivered only distain and abandonment.

It was the first gathering of the photographer and the pups, who were all simultaneously released into the Humane Society bark park. The human knew of their past upbringing and wasn’t sure of what would transpire in the initial get-together. It took less than 5 seconds for the non-stop joy and frolic to commence which totally overwhelmed the human who found himself carried along in the scrambling dance of the free-spirited pups.

Rhett was the most opportunistic of the group as he played “catch me if you can” while giving a park tour to every one of the multitude of bark park squeakies. Out of all of the possibilities, Rhett was most intrigued by the big blue ball which successfully eluded his puppy mouth embrace.

Rhett wanted to remind you that “you should be licked and often, by a canine who knows how.”
