Rhea's Story
Meet Rhea — a stunning Border Collie with a heart just as beautiful as her looks.

Rhea came to STAF after being rescued from a county shelter in Kentucky, and somehow this sweet girl was completely overlooked. While we don’t know much about her life before rescue, we’ve quickly learned that Rhea is incredibly affectionate, loves belly rubs, adores people, and has been friendly with the other dogs she arrived with.

Like many Border Collies, Rhea is smart, active, and ready for adventure. She’ll thrive in a home that can keep both her mind and body busy, and she would especially love a family familiar with Border Collies or other herding breeds.

If you’re looking for a loyal best friend, adventure buddy, and professional cuddle expert all in one, Rhea might just be your perfect match!

Visit STAF.org for more information on our adoption process. *** Email adoptadog@STAF.org for next steps! ***

• All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
• We do not do same-day adoptions. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.
• You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.
• Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.
• We do request vet and personal references.
• We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter
