Reyna's Story

Hi, I'm Reyna! I'm a 9 year old female Black Mouth Cur mix, weighing around 60 pounds. I’m fully potty trained, crate trained, spayed, and up to date on all my vaccines. I also walk very well on a leash—easy strolls are kind of my thing these days!

My story started in Tijuana, where I was rescued after being hit by a car. I went through rehabilitation and came out strong, but I do have hip dysplasia and some physical limitations because of it. Don’t let that fool you though—I’m still full of life and don’t require extra vetting! With my daily medication, supplements, light exercise, and lots of love, I’m doing amazing and still enjoy moving around and being part of the fun, just at my own pace.

I’m sweet, smart, and confident—basically a total queen. I’m very affectionate and love being around my people, though I do have a nice independent side too. I’m an absolute snugglebug, and my favorite thing to do is cuddle up and sleep near you. My energy level is pretty mild, so I’m more of a “chill and relax” companion than a “let’s run a marathon” type.

I’m great with people and kids, and I can do well with other dogs with a proper introduction. I haven’t been tested with cats yet. I do have mild anxiety and might whimper a little when you leave, but I settle down shortly after.

My ideal home would be a quiet, single-story space with easy access in and out—something comfy and calm where I can feel safe and loved.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal, and loving companion who will happily be your cuddle buddy and shadow, I’d love to meet you. I may be a little older, but I promise—I’ve still got so much love left to give 💛

My adoption fee is $250, this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip.
