__

This pretty princess, Reyna, is a certified Velcro girl with a big heart, a playful streak, and a whole lot of love to give. At 2 years old, this 50-pound, spayed gal wants to be wherever you are, preferably close enough to touch. Privacy? Not really her thing.

She was found roaming as a stray on the streets. Thankfully, one of our fosters stepped in and got her to safety.

Reyna is being fostered in Austin, Texas, and is available for out-of-state adoption, with transport arranged by the rescue once she's matched with an approved adopter. The adoption process includes an application, phone interview, video call with the foster home, virtual home visit, and vet and personal reference checks.

Reyna is an athletic girl who would thrive with an active family that can provide regular exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation. When she has energy to burn, she can get into a little mischief, but she's eager to learn and please. She already knows "sit" and "paw" and responds fairly well when called. With consistent training and structure, she's got all the makings of a wonderful companion.

She's very dog-friendly, enjoys playing with other dogs, and is non-reactive on walks. She also walks pretty well on leash, making her a fun partner for daily adventures. And when the day's activities are over, she's more than happy to trade playtime for cuddles.

Reyna can struggle with separation anxiety and would benefit from a family willing to help her build confidence and independence. Someone who's home more often than not, especially while she adjusts, would be ideal. She's a sensitive girl who can be nervous in certain situations (the fire alarm is definitely not her friend), so she'll appreciate patient encouragement as she settles into her new world.

Reyna has a few quirks, too. She tends to eat better when she's near her people, and she's athletic enough to clear a baby gate with ease. So her new family may have some agility classes in their future.

She previously lived with cats and was reportedly fine with them, though introductions to any resident cats should be done carefully.

Reyna is a sweet, affectionate, playful girl who's still figuring a few things out. With an active family who can give her the exercise, structure, and reassurance she needs, she'll have the chance to build confidence and become the best version of herself.

If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who wants to be part of everything you do - Reyna might just be your girl!
__

***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. ***
