🐶 💙 ⭐️ Meet Rex, Rexie the Bestie 💙 🐕 🐾 ✨..........located in Houston, TEXAS 🐕✨<br/>68lbs.<br/>Black Lab mix<br/>Estimated birthday: Sep 2020<br/><br/>Rex is tall, dark, and handsome! He is a bubbly, outgoing guy. He loves to run around and play, sit for treats, and hang with his people. He wants nothing more than validation that he is a good boy. With this one, you get guaranteed kisses 24/7! He is an Absolute Favorite of many volunteers, especially since he clims into the good laps easily. This sweetheart is such a Snuggler: thinks he's a lap dog nearly 70 lbs!<br/><br/>Rex was rescued as a stray, and has not had an easy start. Rex fell into the wrong hands at some point in his life and has been betrayed by the people that were supposed to protect him. He is now ready to find his forever person/people that he can share all his love with. <br/><br/>Rex has been to several adoption events and done exceptionally well. He went with his rescue buddies to an Astro’s watch party at a local bar, he was so sweet and just happy to be there! He got lots of hugs and kisses from visitors and loved every minute of it. <br/><br/>He has also accompanied a couple of our volunteers to dinner at a dog friendly restaurant, along with his best buddy Bambi. They were so patient and laid peacefully under the table, just people watching and loving on the volunteers :-) <br/><br/>Rex is a 5 year old, 68 lb Black Labrador Retriever mix that is:<br/> ⭐️ Fully vaccinated, microchipped, & neutered<br/> 🏡 Kennel & potty trained<br/> 🐶 Dog selective, he likes the girls and is friendly with proper introductions<br/> 📍 located in Houston, TX ........... These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.<br/><br/>*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.<br/><br/>*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. <br/><br/>*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. <br/><br/>*All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
