ĀArriving with his lady friend Taffy when their familyĀcould no longer care for them, Rex was a bit of a flat lined guy for the first few days but oh, Āhe's come along marvelously!! Ā Rex is now in smile and slow, steady tail wag mode. ĀAlready, Āwe've had him in play groups and he was superb. ĀDescribed as gentle/dainty in a group doggy setting, Āhe's not going to win any awards wrestlingĀand chasingĀafter otherĀdogs but will earn high merit points for politely and calmlyĀgoing about his business while lightly engaging withĀhis new 4 legged friends. ĀAt over 70lbs, ĀRex is a big guy but he's not one to throw aroundĀhis weight and is prettyĀeasy to manage. ĀHe's not shown much interest in toys thus far and is graced with a more independent feel to him. ĀHe's not kissing and slobbering on us but is certainly starting to come over and give us randomly wet noses and then he's off to explore a new scent or area of our play area.Ā We're just discovering the very top layer of what Rex has to offer his new family and by the looks of things, he has much to offer as someone's treasured companion pet.
