Rex's Story

Hi there, Im Rex! Im a 4-year-old chidoxi mix, a perfect 10 pounds of sweetness, snuggles, and speedy little legs. I used to be a stray, but now Im living the good life in foster careand Im ready to find my forever family!
Im a friendly guy who loves everyone I meet. If you have a couch, Ill happily curl up beside you (or on you!) for snuggle time. Im crate trained, very polite with my toys, and super food-motivated, which means Im always excited to learn new tricksespecially if treats are involved.
One important thing about me: I only potty on leash walks. That means Im looking for someone who can take me out first thing in the morning for a proper stroll, because I wont use the backyard. Speaking of walks I LOVE brisk walks and light jogs! Ive got a unique front pawmaybe from birthbut trust me, it doesnt slow me down one bit. I actually feel my best when Im moving fast, and I can run full speed right alongside my foster sister.
My foster family adores me and says Id make an amazing companion for active adultssomeone who enjoys stepping outside for fresh air, going on brisk walks, playing fetch (Im a huge ball-retrieval fan!), and then settling in for cozy cuddle time. Im great with kids, adults, and other dogs, and I hardly ever bark. Basically, Im a low-maintenance, high-love little dude looking for my perfect match.
If youre searching for a snuggly walking buddy with a big heart and a bigger love for fetch, Id be thrilled to meet you! Please answer some questions at www.lovefordogs.org/adopt-foster so my people can reach out.
