When he first meets new people he is timid and skittish, but with patience, kindness, & a little time, his true personality starts to shine. Each day he’s growing more confident and learning that the world is a safe place.<br/><br/>He’s currently working on socializing & building trust, and he’s making great progress with loving guidance. Rex plays great with kids and other dogs, and he seems to find comfort in calm, friendly companions.<br/><br/>He is fully potty trained and very well behaved in the home. Rex also enjoys snuggling, though he prefers affection on his own terms. When he feels safe, he’ll happily curl up beside you and soak up the love.<br/><br/>Rex needs a home with a fenced yard and preferably another dog or two.<br/><br/>Approximate Birthdate:<br/>Jan 2021<br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $200<br/><br/>TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.<br/><br/>Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.
