Meet Rex! This big block headed boy is genuinely the sweetest, cuddliest, softest, handsomest, most talkative boy we have met in a longggg time. He is too good to be in a shelter, and we fear he may be over looked and stereotyped, hindering him from finding a home as quickly as he should. JUST COME MEET HIM! You’ll understand immediately why we love him! Rex is crate trained, potty trained, seemingly good with other dogs (we would recommend female dogs in a new home for best results compatibility wise) and we were told he lived with cats! Rex is up to date on vaccines, fixed, microchipped, heartworm tested and started on preventatives. For The Sake of Being Humane's Adoption Policy

For EVERY adoption we require an approved application (which includes a vet reference), a meet and greet with the potential adopters current dogs/children/family members, submission of pictures of the applicants home and yard, a contract signing, and an adoption fee. The adoption is finalized usually after the meet and greet (which usually only takes 30mins). We do offer Foster-to-adopt scenarios for some adoptions that we want to make sure are going to work out before finalizing things!
