Rex's Story
Meet Rex, a 4–5-year-old with a heart as big as his paws. Rex came to us as a stray, very underweight, and we're currently helping him gain the healthy weight he needs. Despite his rough start, Rex is incredibly sweet and loves people. He’s friendly with other dogs and showed no interest in our barn cats, so he may do well in a home with feline friends. Rex knows how to sit and is learning to be more gentle when taking treats—he just gets a little excited sometimes! He does seem to have some separation anxiety, so he'd do best in a home where someone is around often or with another dog to keep him company. Rex is ready for a second chance and a family to call his own—could that be you?
