Unfortunately, after six months of trying multiple treatments and allergy medications, their son's allergies became increasingly severe. With broken hearts, they made the painful decision to find Rex a new home where he can continue being the amazing companion he was born to be.<br/><br/>Rex is a handsome Lab/Pit mix with a heart of gold and a personality that wins over everyone he meets. Friendly, affectionate, and incredibly well-trained, Rex is the kind of dog people dream about finding.<br/><br/>This PAWs to Prison graduate knows an impressive list of commands, including sit, stay, down, roll over, and even high-five! He has excellent recall, loves playing fetch, and absolutely thrives around other dogs. He's wonderful with children and never turns down the chance to show you his love by giving you a big hug.<br/><br/>Despite experiencing setbacks in life, Rex wakes up every day full of joy, love, and excitement. He asks for very little beyond a family to love and a place to belong.<br/><br/>Rex isn't just a good dog, he's an exceptional one.
