Rex's Story

Rex is a newer arrival here, though sadly he's no stranger to the shelter system. He joined us from our friends at the Broome County Dog Shelter (BCDS) after being picked up as a stray and repeatedly overlooked, so he's hoping a fresh start will help him finally find his people. Rex can be a little shy at first, but he's a sweet, gentle, and slightly silly guy once he warms up. He loves going for relaxed walks and enjoying the fresh air-sometimes even stopping to sit and take it all in. Rex gets along with other dogs, especially calmer ones, and while he may bark in his kennel, he's really just saying hello. Outside the kennel his kind personality really shines. He enjoys toys, pets, and making new friends, so come meet the sweet boy everyone's been missing out on-adopt Rex today!
