Rex was rescued with another dog after being abandoned in Mexico. They were a bit dehydrated but both are doing well now. Rex is a total sweetheart. He craves attention and is always the first dog to greet anyone who enters his shelter area. He will be a very loyal companion to the person or family who adopts him. Rex is smart, active, and great with other dogs. Our volunteers say he walks well on a leash, and we think he may have lived in a home at some point. He has a short, docked tail—no knocking things off tables with a long one! If your application is approved and the dog is located in Mexico, we will collaborate with flight companions (flight angels) flying from Puerto Vallarta to destinations close to where the dog is posted as available. Adopters can meet these flight angels at the airport and take the pup home.
