Renner's Story

Hello! I'm Renner! I am a spunky, funky little boy dog with a personality and zeal for a large life!! I found my way to the shelter as a stray and now I am anything but lost!! I know who I am here, I know who loves me and I know I belong with your family!! I do prefer a family with kiddos older than 5 years old. My spunk and energy level might seem overwhelming to a toddler, but rest assured, I am as sweet and playful as they come!!<br/><br/>I attended "school" when I went to the Pets for Parolees program. I learned commands such as "sit", "down" and go to my bed or kennel on command!!<br/><br/>Dogs and I get along swimmingly. I love romping around with other dogs – check out my video. I loved playing in the kiddie pool we had here at the shelter and I love running around in circles thinking...." this place is awesome!!"<br/><br/>You know what would be even more awesome? Me coming home with you and running around your yard thinking "this place is awesome!!" If you're looking for a short, squatty little man with happiness, joy and excitement in his eyes to show you and your family what having a joy for life really looks like, then come ask for Renner!! Just one look at me and you won't walk away without me!!<br/><br/>Love, Renner

Disposable masks are available upon request. If you have any questions about our adoptable pets, please call (913) 831-7722 or email adoptions@greatplainsspca.org. Our expert matchmakers look forward to finding you the perfect furry family member! Adoption Requirements: - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older. - For the safety and health of our animals, we do not ship pets. - Pet adoption fees range from $60 to $450. We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. The adoption fee for each animal varies and is dependent on many factors including: age, size, behavior, medical condition, and public demand. If you have any questions about our adoptable pets, please call (913) 831-7722 or email adoptions@greatplainsspca.org.
