Ren's Story

Meet Ren!

Ren is a female, coonhound shepherd mix, who was born May 2025. This sweet girl is from our Star Wars litter that we took in from Mecklenberg County - they were found as strays. She is sweet, playful, loving, cuddly, and ready for an adventure! She loves other dogs and has a submissive play style. She does great with cats and doesn't chase, but she may let out a curious bark. But that's the only time she uses her voice! She is quiet, great in her crate, and potty trained. She walks well on the leash and will be on the smaller side - likely not above 35 pounds! She is social and loves people. You can get her to do just about anything for a treat!

She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $350 and covers the cost of age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and her upcoming spay. To apply to adopt Ren, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt.

Spay/Neuter Disclosure:
Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.

Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.

Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
