Remy's Story

1 year old • 20 lbs • Male • Schoodle (we think?)

Remy was dumped in a construction yard in downtown LA and ran after his family as they drove away. For over a week, he stayed nearby, scared, confused, but slowly accepting food from kind workers who were trying to help.

When we rescued him, Remy was shut down and unsure of the world. But underneath that fear is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet.

Now safe in a foster home, Remy is starting to come out of his shell. With the help of his foster sister, Lucy (a 60 lbs pitbull/boxer), he’s learning how to trust, how to play, and how to feel safe again. He’s incredibly gentle, affectionate, and once he bonds with you, all he wants is to be close, cuddled up by your side.

He’s currently living with four cats and doing okay, though he definitely prefers other dogs and gains confidence from them.

Remy is doing great with crate training and is already potty trained. He’s working on leash walking and learning that the world isn’t so scary after all. He just needs a patient, loving home that will continue to build his confidence and show him consistency and kindness.

He’s about 20 lbs, around a year old, healthy, and will be neutered soon.

Remy has already experienced being left behind but we’re determined that his next home will be forever!
