Meet Remi
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Remi came to the shelter with 4 litter mates. Three have been adopted, but Remi and his sister Gemini are still looking for homes for most of his life. Remi is approximately 2 years old as of March 2024,
He's especially sweet and gentle. He loves to play with other dogs. Originally fearful of the outside world, Remi now enjoys exploring and taking walks. When he looks up at you with his hound dog eyes, you can't help but feel the love!
Remi will do best and gain confidence in a quieter home with a single person or adult only family. He needs a patient adopter who's willing to put in consistent work to help him become a fully confident canine companion.
His perfect home comes with a fenced yard so he can run and play, and a family dedicated to giving him lots of love and plenty of exercise. Although he can be separated from his sister, Gemini, they are bonded. It would be great if Remi and his sister Gemini could be adopted together. Otherwise, ideally he’ll go to a family with another friendly, playful dog.
After a DNA test, we were surprised to learn test that Remi is 50% Great Pyrenees, 14.3% Bluetick Coonhound,13.7% Chow Chow, 11.7% Labrador Retriever, and 10.3% German Shepherd.
Remi is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, heartworm negative, and ready to go home!
