He is enthusiastic about most tasks you ask of him and takes direction exceptionally well. When his physical and mental needs are met, he settles beautifully and is quite mellow in the home.<br/><br/>He is independent yet deeply connected to his handler, bonds strongly once trust is built, and will do best with someone who understands and respects the minds and needs of herding dogs.
