Meet Refried Beans! <br/><br/>Refried Beans is a big, squishy sweetheart who just wants to be close to his people. Personal space? What's that? He’s happiest when he can crawl into your lap for kisses and soak up all the love you’re willing to give. This gentle guy walks beautifully on leash and enjoys his strolls, though he can get a little excited when he spots other dogs. Refried Beans would do well in a home with kids, but smaller children might get toppled during his zoomie bursts, He’s got a lot of love and a lot of momentum! He’s a wonderful guy and would love to be someone’s best friend! <br/><br/>Approximate Birth Date - 09/12/2024<br/><br/>Size - Large (73lbs) <br/><br/>House Training - Refried Beans is fully house trained! <br/><br/>Other dogs - Refried Beans is less social butterfly, more social bulldozer. He has an over the top play style and will do best with dogs who match his energy and are willing to correct his behavior. <br/><br/>Cats - Given his bouncy personality, we think Refried Beans would need an experienced owner who can work with him on appropriate behavior with cats (ie. the cat is not a toy) and would require a slow introduction and plenty of safe spaces for any cats in the home.<br/><br/>Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a county license at an additional cost of $21.
