REESEY's Story
BASIC FACTS

Breed: Yorkie Mix
Color: Brown and black
Age: 6 years old
Gender: Male (Neutered)
Size: Small, 9 pounds
House-trained: Yes
Crate trained: Yes
Good with Kids: Unknown
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Cats: Yes
Concerns: New owner needs to have a slow introduction, because of his shyness.

BIOGRAPHY

Meet Reesey!

Reese came from a shelter in Baltimore, MD, so we know little about his background. He came from a home with 15+ cats, so we believe it was a hoarding situation, and he was not socialized well in his early years.

Reesey is very shy and afraid of new people, likely due to his background. He may bark when first meeting someone new, but after a few minutes he will warm up to you. He is not fond of the cold weather, so he goes out to potty, but does not stay out too long to play. When the weather is warm, he likes to run around in the yard. He has a very high-pitched bark when he barks, so he would do better in a single-family home, rather than an apartment where he may disturb neighbors.

Reesey is a very sweet boy, and he loves to cuddle with you on the couch. He would love to sleep in the big bed with you if you desire. He will need some practice walking on a leash and harness, because he wants to run, rather than walk. He also pulls when he is walked, so he will need some practice with his walking skills.

Reesey is vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is being fostered in Walkersville, MD and is available for an adoption fee of $350.00.

If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.sophiasgracefoundation.org

***Petfinder/RescueMe inquiries are NOT considered applications and may
not be responded to***
