Reese's Story

REESE is a 4.5 year old, female, spayed, American Staffordshire Terrier mix.
40 pounds, spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated and UTD on F/T/HW prevention

All she wants to do is snuggle and try to melt into you.

Reese is extremely smart and quick to learn. She wants to be your best friend, but will take a minute to size you up and make sure you pass her princess status test. (Everyone has passed her test thus far - 20+ people).

She adores everyone at the animal hospital/kennel and asks for cuddle attention all day, is perfect for her baths, but is a HWC for restraint for medical tasks only.

Reese lived with multiple cats prior to being in our care and did well, but we have not tested her in a kennel environment.

She seems to enjoy the company of most dogs, but does remain apprehensive to ankle biters...we think she is just a good judge of character. ;)

She currently is eating a special diet to ensure her stool is normal consistency while in the kennel.

Reese was an owner surrender to PHAH with her two housemates. They were severely underweight, had multiple parasites, and lacked all routine care. The PHAH Staff does a great job to ensure they are medically cared for and spoiled... but all they want is a home to call their own.
