Reef's Story
Meet Reef!
4 1/2-year old Reef (racing name SS Best Buds) is just at the age where she was ready to hang up the racing silk, don a fancy ornamental collar, and enjoy the fruits of her labors.
The little 60-pound brindle girl is quite affectionate in her foster home and gets along beautifully with the two resident female Greyhounds there. She eats very well, sometimes runs laps in the yard with the other Greyhounds, and even chooses to go into her crate with the door open just to hang out and watch what's going on in the house. She loves stuffed toys and a big fluffy bed, too.
Reef tested cat friendly at the track's adoption kennel but we'll test her again next weekend.
Is Reef destined to be your best bud?
