Redd's Story

Redd needs a home! This beautiful Rough Collie is 7 years old, 70lbs, dog-friendly, and very polite with people. He was surrendered to us due to the health of the previous owner. Redd is used to being outdoors but has adjusted to the indoor lifestyle quickly. He lived on a farm previously so we would assume he does well with farm animals. Because he was mostly outdoors we don't believe he is completely house trained, he will need a home willing to work with him on this. Redd does exceptionally well with other dogs. He’s proven to be a gentle, good-natured boy. If you’re interested in adopting please fill out the application on our website or give us a call. He can't wait to meet you!

Paws and Claws Rescue and Resort's Adoption Policy

Step 1: Find a dog or cat that you fall in love with. Step 2: Make sure your home is a good fit for the pet and be aware of everything that goes into being a 'pet parent'. Be prepared to take on this new life in your home! Step 3: Fill out our Adoption Questionnaire (included below). Step 4: Paws+Claws staff will review the completed Adoption Questionnaire and call your included references. Step 5: If everything checks out and Paws+Claws is satisfied with the response, we will have you complete an Adoption Contract. Step 6: Go over your new pet's medical records. Step 7: Take your adoption photo! Step 8: Take your new furry friend home!
