Meet Red, the most handsome little brindle puppy around!<br/><br/>Red was born in our care after his mama, Indie, came to Underdog Animal Rescue. She was a wonderful mama, and now her babies are ready to start looking for families of their own.<br/><br/>Red is one of the smallest puppies in his litter. At just eight weeks old and around 3 pounds, he is a sweet, spunky, playful little guy with plenty of puppy energy and personality packed into a very tiny body.<br/><br/>Mama weighs approximately 14 pounds, but we do not know anything about Dad. Based on Red’s current size, our best guess is that he may be around 8–12 pounds full grown, but with rescue puppies, adult size is never guaranteed.<br/><br/>As adorable as Red is, we want potential adopters to remember that he is still a complete infant. He has absolutely no training yet. He is not house trained, leash trained or crate trained, and raising him will be a full-time commitment. Puppies require patience, consistency, socialization, training and a family prepared to structure their lives around their needs for quite some time.<br/><br/>Because Red is still completing his puppy vaccine series, he cannot safely walk or play on public shared surfaces for approximately the next eight weeks. His future family will need to have a safe plan for exercise, potty training and socialization during this important developmental period.<br/><br/>We are looking for a home rather than an apartment, preferably with a secure, fully enclosed backyard. Another friendly, well-socialized dog in the home would be ideal to help Red continue learning how to be a great canine companion.<br/><br/>Red is looking for someone who isn’t just falling in love with the adorable 3-pound puppy they see today, but who is ready to commit to the dog he will become for the rest of his life.<br/><br/>If you’re ready for sleepless nights, potty training, puppy teeth, endless supervision, lots of laughs and even more love, Red might just be the little guy you’ve been waiting for.<br/><br/>Adoption fee is 600
