Red's Story

Let us introduce you to the super affectionate Red. He is a 4 year old Beagle/Mastiff mix and he weighs 65 pounds. He is a good boy that only wants to be around his humans. His previous home was too busy and kept him tethered outside most of the time.
Red is the best mix of both breeds. He is playful and gets excited in short bursts. He is smart and will learn quickly. His foster family want to start right away with teaching him commands. He loves his chew toys and only chews appropriately on them. He also loves his food but is not aggressive about it at all. Red is very happy and is often calm and content just to be near you. He is also quiet and does not bark very often.
Red is house broken and crate trained. He is comfortable being in the crate at night and when the family is gone during the day. He does well on walks. He enjoys his dog brothers and can get excited when he is around them. This is an area where he will need training as he is a strong boy. He is great around kids as well. His foster family does not have cats so we are unsure how he would do with them.
Please reach out to us if you have questions or would like to meet Red at adoptafriendforlife.org.
