Our Mission
Adopt a Friend for Life, founded in February 2005, is dedicated to rescuing adoptable stray, abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs. AFL offers an alternative to animal shelters by housing our animals in foster homes until they can be placed for adoption into loving, permanent homes.
Adoption Policy
Look either on our website, Petfinder, or at one of our adoption events to find animals our foster homes are sheltering.
Once you find an animal you are interested in adopting, fill out an application on our website. Our foster will then review the application.
After our foster reviews your application, they will contact you and set up a visit to meet the animal and schedule a home visit.
If the foster determines the animal is the right addition for your family, AFL will prepare the adoption papers and arrange the pick up for your new pet!
