Meet Red!<br/>Red is a sweet five-year-old Beagle mix located in Oswego, Illinois, who is learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. Red recently arrived from Mississippi after being found as a stray down there.This laid-back little guy can be timid with new people at first, but with patience and kindness, his gentle personality begins to shine.<br/><br/>Red is wonderful with other dogs and cats, and having a canine friend around really helps build his confidence. He is one of the easiest dogs his foster has cared for. He enjoys taking naps in the bay window, does not need a crate, does not chew on things, and settles nicely at home. He is still working on his potty routine and has only had a couple accidents while adjusting to foster life. <br/><br/>He is already neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready for a caring family who will give him the time he needs to fully blossom.<br/><br/>Red has done very well with older kids, but he may be a little bit more timid around smaller kids.
