Rebel

Rebels Story
Courtesy Post Only by Denton Humane Society for Denton Animal Shelter

Rebel is a 5-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier who has quickly become a Volunteer Favorite! Since arriving at the shelter on 5/20/2026, Rebel has charmed everyone with his highly social and affectionate personality—he absolutely loves meeting new people and thrives on attention. Rebel is potty trained and has excellent manners in the home, making him an easy addition to any family. Currently, Rebel is on kennel rest due to recovering from surgery, and we are urgently seeking a foster or adopter to help him recover in a comfortable, loving environment. He is food motivated, which makes training and enrichment activities a breeze, and he adores playing with toys—especially when he can share the fun with his favorite humans. Rebels gentle nature and eagerness to please make him a wonderful companion for anyone looking to help a sweet dog heal and flourish. If you're looking for a loyal, loving friend, Rebel is ready to bring joy to your home while he recovers.

For Foster or Adoption information, call 940-349-7594 or inquire by emailing animal.services@cityofdenton.com. Rebel is waiting.
