What is Tupelo-Lee Humane Society’s adoption process?

Our adoption policy supports an open conversation with our adopting clients to create the best match between you and the pets we have available for homes. The adoption process is designed to help educate the new family about the pet he/she/they may be interested in and to answer any questions the new pet owner may have. All our pets must be spayed/neuter prior to completion of the adoption contract. Thanks to the Petco Love Foundation, our heartworm positive dogs will receive treatment or have other treatment options and education available in an effort to remove a hurdle to the pet being adopted.
