FROM SHY SHELTER GIRL - TO SWEETEST BEST FRIEND!

Hi everyone! My name is Reba

I recently moved into a foster home, and let me tell you everything is brand new to me! After spending time in the shelter and boarding, I'm now learning what it means to be part of a family.

Some things still feel a little strange. Hardwood floors are slippery, household sounds can be surprising, and I'm figuring out what life inside a home is all about. But every day I get a little braver and a little more confident. My favorite spot so far is the sunroom, where I can relax, soak up the sunshine, and watch the world go by.

I'm a gentle, sweet-natured girl who takes a little time to feel comfortable in new situations. Once I know I'm safe, my loving personality shines through. I enjoy being around people, walk nicely on a leash, and seem to be house-trained too!

I get along well with other dogs and would really love to have a confident canine companion in my forever home. Having another dog around helps me learn that new things aren't so scary and gives me someone to look to for guidance. I've even met a cat and was very polite with her!

While I'm still building confidence, I continue to make progress every day. What I need most is a patient family that will help me keep learning, celebrate my little victories, and show me that the world is a safe place.

In return, you'll get a sweet, gentle soul who is blossoming more each day and is ready to spend the rest of her life loving her forever family.

Could that family be yours?

Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta's Adoption Policy
Great Pyrenees are the southeasts best kept secret. We are a magnificent and majestic breed that is one of the best dogs a family can own - we really are. We are gentle giants loved by all because we combine two characteristics that are hard to beat. First, we are terrific family pets. We are lovable and gentle with children - we love them even when they treat us like massive fluff balls! Second, and where we differ from most house pets, we are protectors. I tend to be the witty observer but my big brother Jenkins is a typical Great Pyrenees and he is amazing as he patrols our property watching for anything unusual. He takes his job very seriously. Great Pyrenees were bred as working dogs and our "job" in the home is to protect our "family". We have regular adoption days - usually every other Saturday from 11am until 1 pm at the Perimeter Petsmart in Atlanta, GA visit our website to see current adoption days
