Reba's Story

Cat-friendly

There is so much fake news out there today that it's hard to know what is true and what isn't. Are we right?

Let us assure you, the "news" you will get about lovely Reba is 100% TRUE! No guessing here.

Miss Reba has a stunning red/mahogany coat and soulful eyes that will melt your heart. She is a 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing 42 pounds. She is a happy, playful gal who loves nothing more than being right by your side. She gets along well with all the dogs in her foster home, from an 8-lb terrier mix to a 70-lb male Husky. She is also learning to have a healthy respect for cats from her foster cat. She is playful with older kiddos and loves cuddle time with them, too. Toys are a win for her! She prefers the plastic chew toys, plus the crinkly ones are so much fun!

Reba is already house- and crate-trained. Since she can be trusted at night, she will either sleep in her crate or in her human's bedroom. She has been working on her leash manners and has mastered sit, down and kennel. Reba's foster mom tells us she has playful energy for about 30 minutes, then is ready to chill out.

Reba would do best in a home with another dog and older kids. She thrives on activity to help release her energy, then lots of love and snuggles. Her laid-back nature makes her a wonderful fit for just about any family.

Reba will come to you spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $175. To meet her, complete an adoption application at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled for approved adopters.

APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org

No fake news here! Reba has nothing to hide. She is everything we've told you and MORE!

Pawsitive Tails is dedicated to matching the needs and personality of our dogs with your family. We are not in a hurry to adopt out our dogs; we want to make sure the match is perfect for everyone. All of the dogs in our rescue live in foster homes with both the human and furry members of our families. Our adoption process begins with an application which can be found under the "adopt" tab on our website, www.pawsitivetailskc.org. Please complete the form in full; the questions we ask help us to fully understand what type of dog you are looking for, and to make sure you get the very best fit. Incomplete applications will not be processed. If you do not include a vet phone number, a landlord phone number (if applicable), or 3 complete references, we cannot process your application. We will contact your Veterinarian, so please make sure to call them to release your vet history to our volunteer. &nbs
