Raymond (Weekend Warrior)'s Story
Foster notes:

RAYMOND - THE SILLY GOOBER
Educated guess: Border Collie Shepherd Mix
48 lbs
Neutered
Heartworm positive
Crate & potty trained
Raymond is quite the character! He has a silly personality and can struggle a little bit at times, but underneath it all is a sweet boy who desperately wants to be close to his human.
Raymond would do best with someone who has experience with dogs and understands canine behavior, and he would be happiest in a home without small children.
He gets along with dogs who don't challenge him. A female dog would likely be the best match, although he has done well with some male dogs too. A proper introduction is necessary when meeting potential doggy siblings.
Raymond has been at the shelter since 6/29/2026 and is also battling heartworm disease. Thankfully, his heartworm treatment is paid for by the shelter.
This goofy boy deserves someone willing to understand him, give him patience, and let him be the silly little goober that he is.
Raymond is looking for a foster or forever family willing to give him that chance.
