Ray's Story

Meet Ray

Ray is a sweet, gentle, and incredibly kind boy who is ready for a second chance at a happy life. Ray is about 4 years old and is be an Anatolian Shepherd mix.

Ray came to us abandoned and very underweight, but even after such a rough start, he has remained one of the kindest, most loving dogs you’ll ever meet. He is steadily gaining weight and feeling better every day. Ray loves treats, enjoys being loved on, and has a calm, easygoing personality. He is curious without being overwhelming and has a gentle spirit that makes him wonderful to be around.

Ray also does well with other dogs and would be a great companion in a loving home where he can finally feel safe, appreciated, and cared for.

Ray has tested heartworm positive, but he is not coughing or showing obvious symptoms at this time. He will need a family who can keep him on heartworm prevention, work with their veterinarian, and make sure he has regular checkups to monitor his health. Ray deserves someone who will help him continue healing and give him the happy life he missed out on before.

Ray is located in Gainesville, TX, but we offer transportation services all over the U.S.
If you’d like to learn more about Ray, call us anytime at 940-665-9800.
