Meet the perfect indoor boy Ray!<br/>He's a 3yr old very affectionate, tender, cuddly and follows you around with loving eyes. He is the perfect gentleman in the home. He's housebroken and respectful and can be left home alone loose with no issues. He's also neutered, crate trained, great on car rides and loves people. He's been taken to bible study, around the elderly and he's just loving and gentle. He is happy just laying on his bed and he isnt into heavy activities. If you are looking for an introverted low maintenance homebody he is your boy!

Healing Hounds Rescue's Adoption Policy

I have them fill out my foster/adoption contract and after receiving I call to vet them and understand their abilities and the type of dog they would like. We have a good hour long convo of everything from slow introductions, training, positive reinforcement, needs of the dog, and the adopters expectations. I either do a home check or ask for pictures of where the dog would be staying, sleeping, eating. Then we plan a meet and greet with adopter and adopters other animals or family members to see how the dog reacts. I want to set up my rescues for success and make sure it's a good fit for everyone.
