Raven's Story

Raven is a gorgeous beagle mix who is mainly white, but with black markings and brown. She likely is a beagle dachshund (doxle). She has a longer dachshund body, but is slightly taller, yet with beagle ears and tri-coloring. In a further cute characteristic, her ears perk up and stand out sometimes.

Raven is estimated to be between a year and a year and a half old. We got her from a shelter in the Central Valley as part of a group of seven young beagle mixes. Since then, Raven has gone from under 10 pounds to 12.5 pounds.

Initially shy, Raven warmed up in the home environment and became social. She likes to be close to people, including sitting on a lap and sleeping close on the bed. Raven is good with other dogs, napping next to them, even sharing a food dish, and wanting to play. She has enjoyed the dog park. She now loves dog cookies and treats -- and will stand up for them. She is a very sweet, mellow, and quiet girl.

Raven has been thankful to enjoy foster home life with beagles and other mixes in rescue but would like to find her forever home for the holidays.

If interested in adopting Raven, please call or text Eva at 916-803-4935 or email at norcalbeagles@gmail.com
