Raven

Raven is a gorgeous beagle mix who is mainly white, but with black markings and brown. She likely is a beagle dachshund (doxle). She has a longer dachshund body, but is slightly taller, yet with beagle ears and tri-coloring. In a further cute characteristic, her ears perk up and stand out sometimes. <br/><br/>Raven is estimated to be between a year and a year and a half old. We got her from a shelter in the Central Valley as part of a group of seven young beagle mixes. Since then, Raven has gone from under 10 pounds to 12.5 pounds.<br/><br/>Initially shy, Raven warmed up in the home environment and became social. She likes to be close to people, including sitting on a lap and sleeping close on the bed. Raven is good with other dogs, napping next to them, even sharing a food dish, and wanting to play. She has enjoyed the dog park. She now loves dog cookies and treats -- and will stand up for them.
