Raven? Raven shows up, steals the spotlight, grabs the lollipop, throws in a little chaos, and somehow makes you fall completely in love with her in the process.

Meet Raven — 7 years, 7 months young, currently in foster with the Stray Animal Adoption Program (SAAP) in Northern Kentucky... and quite possibly the most entertaining, expressive, full-of-life companion you’ll ever meet.

This girl has presence.
She’s got that big, joyful grin, those bright “what are we doing next?!” eyes, and a personality that fills every room she walks into (and occasionally rearranges it for fun).

But Raven’s story didn’t start here.

She was once someone’s whole world — adopted at just a year old, deeply loved, completely devoted to her dad. And then, in 2025, her world changed overnight when he passed away.

Just like that, everything she knew was gone.

She was once someone’s whole world — adopted at just a year old, deeply loved, completely devoted to her dad. And then, in 2025, her world changed overnight when he passed away.

Just like that, everything she knew was gone.

And yet... here she is.
Still loving. Still trusting. Still ready to give her whole heart all over again.

That’s who Raven is.

She’s the kind of dog who:

Greets every human like a long-lost best friend (kids included — she adores them)
“Talks” to you when you’re taking too long to meet her very reasonable demands
Barks at dogs on TV because, excuse me, why are they in he

Stray Animal Adoption Program's Adoption Policy
The Adoption Process SAAP asks for a minimum donation at the time of the adoption. This request is always $300 or less (usually $150 – $250). We are required to collect sales tax on adoptions in the state of Kentucky. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept credit/debit cards. Cash or check is readily accepted. All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, micro chipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea and tick medication applied, and ready to go home with you when you meet them. We ask that you submit an adoption application. We will review and approve/deny your application in a timely manner. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a “Meet and Greet” appointment. Often times this is scheduled at the start of one of our regular adoption events. Frequently, we can make arrangements to meet at times/dates other than our usual events. At the “Meet and Greet” you will have time to make the final decision as to whether you wish to adopt the pet. If indeed you do make the decision to adopt the pet, there is a basic pet adoption contract to complete. The SAAP personnel that is assisting with your pet adoption will be happy to review the contract with you. SAAP does promote life long adoptions. In the unforeseen instance that you must surrender the pet, you must return the pet to SAAP. It is unfortunate, but we cannot return your adoption donation. Copyright 2014-2021 Kreyling Creative LL
