Raven's Story

Raven loves to have fun, fun, fun!

She loves everybody she meets - whether dogs or humans - everyone is her favorite. This dog is all about play! Gentle play though!

This poor girl was found as a stray and taken into one of many Texas shelters that sadly have to euthanize dogs regularly to make space for new dogs coming in. We could not let that happen, so we rescued her, and boy has personality come out.

At the shelter, she was a shy, timid, silent dog, but now that she feels safe and loved, she just wants to have fun! She is excitable, but she's not bananas - she's got just the right amount of spunk. She loves playing with other dogs, and people too, and her antics will keep you laughing.

After play time, she will want to curl up for a nice nap, and she will eat up attention from you. Then after some downtime, it's back to play time!

We think she would do great in a home with a middle aged or older dog who needs a little encouragement to play, because she will get any dog playing. But she will be a nonstop playmate with a young dog, so if you have a dog with energy, then they will wear each other out! And if you have young kids with energy - even better! They will surely play a lot!

She loves to be petted and did we mention she loves to play? She's a young lab-type dog who is much smaller than a lab. Our best guess is she's mixed with a fox terrier with floppy ears. At 33 pounds, and nearly a year old, she is not expected to bet much bigger. You will love this dog, trust us - this girl just wants to have fun.
