This sweet guy was actually abandoned on the beach by his former "family" but luckily he was smart enough to follow a kind person home and they agreed to foster him. He is grateful for his second chance and is making the most of it. Rascal is a smarty-pants who knows some cool tricks, like shaking with both left and right paw, and is always eager to learn more. Rascal gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playing with his doggy foster siblings and with kids. No dog deserves to be dumped, and we can't understand why someone would do that to such a smart and sweet boy. His foster family noted that he does not like to be crated, but is well behaved in the home so it's not an issue. He loves playing in the backyard and really enjoys playing fetch, so grab the Chuck-It or frisbee and let this guy burn off some energy! All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes.
