His surrender was made with great sadness, because sometimes even the best families face difficult circumstances. While saying goodbye was not easy, we made a promise to Rascal: we would find him the amazing forever home he deserves.<br/><br/>And it didn't take long for Rascal to show us exactly why he is so special.<br/>This little 18-pound guy is sweet, outgoing, and ready to be everyone's friend. He has a wonderful personality and has settled into rescue life beautifully. Rascal is comfortable around both dogs and cats, enjoys meeting people, and has the perfect balance of being fun when it's time for adventure and relaxed when it's time to hang out.<br/><br/>Rascal is a pretty fantastic little travel buddy, too! He loves car rides, walks nicely on a leash, and happily hangs out in his crate. He truly is a well-mannered gentleman who is ready to be included in all the little moments that make a family special.<br/><br/>Like many senior dogs, Rascal does have some medical needs that we are addressing. He has impacted anal glands that may require surgery, and he will be receiving a neuter, a full health evaluation, and a dental check to ensure he is feeling his very best. Don't worry though. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption can be finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. A secure physically fenced yard is prioritized if a yard is present. Temperament cannot be and is not guaranteed.
