Raptor's Story

Meet Raptor!

Raptor is a 3-month-old Heeler mix with a big personality, endless energy, and an even bigger voice! This spunky, chaotic little guy always has something to say and isn't afraid to make sure he's heard. He loves attention and is always ready for playtime, whether that's zooming around the backyard, collecting toys, or finding new ways to keep himself entertained.

Once he's burned off all that puppy energy, you'll usually find him stretched out in the grass soaking up the sunshine. Raptor is a clever and sneaky pup who is working hard on kennel, potty, and leash training. He thrives with other dogs around to play with and help keep him busy, and he has done wonderfully with both cats and dogs!

If you're looking for a fun-loving, active companion with plenty of personality and lots to say, Raptor might be your perfect match!!

If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.elpasocountycanine.org/adopt

El Paso County Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please bear with us as we process applications! We are working on changing our processes to function during the COVID-19 outbreak. We have had a big increase in people wanting to adopt (yay!) so it's taking us a bit of time to get through the applications. We work on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must apply for adoption before you will be able to meet with a pup. If you meet with a dog and decide to adopt, we can process your adoption right then and you can go home with your new family member! Thank you for adopting from us and saving our sweet dogs!
